Sun Room Renovation

At this Danbury, CT home, our client contacted us to repair the stairs leading down from the 2nd story sun porch. Upon investigating, we uncovered massive termite damage on the porch, which was also dangerously unsupported. The end result turned the under utilized porch into a beautiful bonus room with vaulted ceiling, new exterior siding, and a new and safe Trex landing and finally down the new and restructured stairs to the backyard and patio.

Inside the former sun porch, the sliding doors which connected the space to the house were removed and the wall opened up to be integrated into the rest of the house. The space was insulated and new windows and an exterior door were installed making this a comfortable extension of the home.
